Better yet, in order to make sure that the grind doesn’t heat up, the burr grinder’s speed is reduced to seven hundred and fifty revolutions per minute. And since this is a stepless grinder, it allows for various grind sizes which is perfect if you like to grind many types of coffee beans.
Decaf Compatible
While this model doesn’t actually come with a bypass doser, that doesn’t mean that you cannot use decaffeinated pre-ground coffee with it. In fact, it can easily brew delicious decaf coffee just as simple and easy as any other types you’re going to use it for.Heated Brew Group
It’s common knowledge that if you want to brew a delicious and flavorful espresso shot, then you need to have a stable temperature. The Monza stands out among other machines of its kind not only thanks to its incredible features, but also due to the fact that it’s made of high quality, polished SS. Because of that, the wear and tear on this machine is greatly diminished, not to mention the fact that SS can also resist acid damage a lot better than many other materials.
Copper Heat Exchange Boiler System
With a 47 oz commercial grade copper boiler, this machine is able to provide stable temperatures at all times and on top of that, it also comes with a heat exchanger that lets you steam and brew at the same time with 0 waiting times in-between. If you have used an espresso machine with a single boiler and no heat exchanger in the past, then you’re certainly going to appreciate the incredible features of the Monza.
Steaming Options
The Monza features a powerful, yet traditional four hole steam wand for milk frothing and also steaming. The Monza also comes with an automatic frother which is certainly going to come in handy when preparing cafe drinks.
Programmed Cleaning

One of the first things you’re going to love about this machine (besides its excellent functionality) is the fact that it’s built using the highest quality materials. For instance, the Andreja’s body is made of food grade SS, while the one point six liter copper boiler is insulated in order to keep the water’s temperature constant. If you focus your attention on the frame, you’ll also realize that it’s made of the same high quality SS, making it very resistant to acid damage and prolonging the machine’s overall lifespan.
Water Sensor
If the water level is low, then the level control is going to cut the power circuit. Users are always going to be alerted when the water level in the boiler and reservoir are low. One thing you need to bear in mind is that it’s best to use water with mineral content in order to prolong the machine’s lifespan.
Simple To Read Indicator Lights
There are 3 indicators in the Andreja that will tell you at all times what is going on with the machine. The left, red indicator light tells you whether the machine is powered on or not. As for the other two lights, they indicate the boiler’s status. Red means the boiler is heating, while green means it’s up to temperature.
Hot Water Wands and No Burn Steam
The Andreja features hot water wands and a no burn steam wand as well which can be easily used without having to worry about burning your hands. Compared to a regular wand where the milk sticks quite often, you won’t have to worry about that too much when it comes to this model.
Expansion Valve
If you want to access the expansion valve on this model, then you’re going to be very happy to know what you can easily do that. In fact, to access it, you just need to remove the cup warmer and that’s about it.
Magnetic Water Level Sensor
If the water level goes low, you’re going to be alerted by it thanks to the integrated magnetic sensor. You’ll hear an audible noise when you have to add water to the machine. The good news is that before the heater is shutoff, you still have plenty of time to finish your shot and do a few more if you want. However, if you fail, you don’t need to worry about it, since the sensor doesn’t shut off the power to the pump, but only to the heater. This way, you can always finish pulling your shot.
Vibratory Pump
The vibratory pump is reliable, quiet and always delivers adequate pressure when required. The pump not only delivers excellent performance, but it also features a device that prevents blocks by reducing backpressure from the boiler.
Professional Gauges
The 2 professional gauges in the Andreja are quite useful when using it. One of them measures the grouphead pressure as you’re brewing the coffee and the other one indicates the pressure in the boiler. They’re actually very helpful and can help you make the most of your espresso machine.
Insulated 54 oz copper boiler
Given the fact the boiler is installed, the machine’s internal components aren’t going to be exposed to excessive heat. Not only does this increase the machine’s lifespan, but at the same time it also keeps your kitchen a lot cooler.
